Juanma Lillo | Leaving the club before the CWC (p52)

Looks like a lot of deflection here. Pep is more to blame for the poor season than any of these lads. Get Xavi in with the view to take over as Manager.
Poor season? finished 3 three points behind second and final of FAC
How is this blaming anyone one has a new job one was always going and the other works with him No blame at all

I expect quick moves for the new staff, otherwise Pep is sitting with physios on the bench for the CWC games...
Mancini used to have Kidd, Platt, Lombardo at one point and some GK coach, fitness coach etc...

Would it be too bold to install a number 2 with a view to them becoming the main man when pep finishes?
De zerbi or similar?
I like the idea and think it's imperative that he has similar philosophies as Pep, as the whole club plays this way!

I was hoping we could put that off at least another season though and then would luv it if we bring Vinny back with mind to him being our next manager

Can I take anyone else in with the view to take over B\connelblue as a fan?

I hope so, because that man becomes indelibly and inextricably linked to the predecessor which makes a hard job even harder. When the time comes with a new boss we need a clean break

Ben Wilkinson and Craig Mudd will step up to help Pep with the squad during CWC due to the back room reshuffle.

Some of them have come in for a bit of criticism this season (who hasn't), but their importance to Pep cannot be understated. Clearly there have been some frank and honest conversations between all of them and new ideas are needed.

Pep is forever evolving and has always been reliant on figures who understand his nature and know how to deal with it.

I would expect him to already have an idea of who he wants in the role, and it will be interesting to see who now steps in. With them going before the CWC I would anticipate the new faces are already lined up.
It bodes really well, imo. Kevin's contract not being renewed, the coaches being moved on, potentially other players replaced as well. New director of football too and his best mate leaving. To me that says the motivation is there, there is a determination, and Pep is in it for the challenge. The club clearly still have full faith in him, he has it in himself too, and the desire for success is obvious among all.

Would take one or the other but both no,
as I would personally like to see a non City face in the assistants role Xavi would be great style of football
repect speak good English and might be a good Pep succession planning
Having managed Barcelona for 3 years, he might be a bit too big to expect as an assistant. Imho.

So we we reckon gonna be new assistants. Xavi will hardly go backwards and become a coach although it would be brilliant. Wonder what mates Pep has in football? What Bout Henry?
