You would have to be mad to want to play and live in that heat, 2 weeks is enough for me. plus the standard of living is a lot higher here, the houses are better, we have a lot more shops, better internet, TV, roads etc etc everything is better in England including the weather

Have you seen our roads ? No multimillionaire is gonna want to risk their supercars on our potholes !!!! I don't want to risk my car on these roads !

Internet? Britain has some of the worst internet in Europe. Our mobile phone reception is pretty awful outside major Cities. I think Portugal actually has some of the best internet.

I'm also tickled by the idea that Manchester has "more" shops than Madrid.

The trendy shopping area up by the American embassy opens early for Madrid players and wags, most open around 10.30 and before then is just for private shopping .
