Just thought to read a few pages back to catch up on things but having seen things here and there with regards to the dippers in the past when trying to get Bellingham, I’d hazard a guess that the dig was aimed at them.

Their ‘chase’ was bordering on psychotic.

I don’t watch pressers and such but going off what I’ve seen here, I wouldn’t be surprise if he was aiming that at the dipper.

We can infer from many different occasions that City are quiet with their dealings and are no mugs who try and beg a player to come.
