Jude Bellingham

Surprised people don't see how good he is. There always seems to be this kind of talk when we're linked with a big money move for someone but he is the exact type of midfielder I'd want as a replacement for Bernardo.

He's not Bernardo's level yet but Bernardo wasn't Bernardo's level until his mid twenties. He was winger who couldn't last over 60 minutes until Pep worked his magic on him.

But like I said, just surprised some can't see how good Jude Bellingham is and I imagine that perception will shift rapidly as soon as his City career gets underway. Hopefully it happens.

Just think it will be 100m wasted. Take Bernardo out and put Bellingham alongside KDB and the control diminishes in the midfield. Kdb is our moments player, we can't accommodate 2 of those. We need another Bernardo to replace Bernardo.

Odegaard would also be a good shout. Someone who works off the ball and can control a game. I'd even have FDJ above Bellingham.

Let Liverpool or United have him IMO.
Maybe we have Bernardo's replacement already, maybe Bellingham replaces Gundogan. Either way not worried I know the club will get the right player. The cost, not my problem.

I've never seen Bellingham control a game. He's a moments player. You can't replace Bernardo with Bellingham. No chance.

Would rather have Ruben Neves for half the price. Better player for me.

The one I would want is Pedri. I'd go with 100m to Barca for Pedri, rather than blow it on Billingham.
1) he's 19 and expecting him to control an international game is quite a stretch
2) about as much chance as us selling Foden

Foden, Bellingham and Grealish the only players who could receive, move and pass with total ball control. Head and shoulders above the rest. Maguire still looking like a baby giraffe with its knees tied together.

19 is far too young to judge most players. You can judge potential but not what the finished article will look like. Is potential worth 150m euro?

Southgate hasnt got a fukin clue. 3 at the back with 2 donkeys and a keeper cant pass with out of position saka and kyle etc etc. Unreal how he is manager jus b4 a bloody world cup starting. Raz was absolute dogshit too

Don’t think he’d fit in CM a Pep system at all

Nowhere near good enough on the ball, he’s a box to box midfielder who goes direct with his powerful runs into the and shots.

We don’t play with midfielders like that under Pep, the ability to recieve the ball in tight spaces under pressure and dictate the tempo are our pre-requisites.

Maybe you could teach him some of the things but it would take years and he’d never be as smooth as a natural in that position.

What would be the point spending £150m on someone who can’t do the things you need them to but is excellent at stuff he’ll never get the chance to do.
