He is not commanding over 100m and 80m is definitely mental.
We’ll see. His potential combined with a club whose literal business goal is to buy low and sell high means whoever signs him is going to need to pay serious cash. I doubt it’ll even be next summer he leaves.

We’ve given Guardiola enough shiny toys to last him the rest of his contract - in which time he should be able to help the likes of McAtee and Lavia along in their development.

We’re probably 3 years away from viably having 5/6 academy graduates playing important roles in the first team if they’re nurtured properly, and that process has to start now.

Not quite how football works these days, if you don't keep adding the best, you get left behind and it's clear to see the Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese youngsters etc tend to be more naturally gifted

You need to watch our youth teams more if you think that's still true.

We’ve been saying we’re 3yrs away from having 5/6 academy graduates in the first team for 10yrs. I hope this time it happens.

It is how football works though. Barcelona, United, AC Milan, recently Chelsea have all had massive success with a large number of homegrown players in the last 20 years or so.

Players aren’t “naturally” more gifted because they were born somewhere hot. It’s a cultural thing and the culture in this country is and has been changing for a while. You don’t get Phil Foden and Jack Grealish 10 years ago.

We need to stay competitive, Kelechi was deemed surplus. García and Sancho left on their own accord. It’s impossible to predict whether players will make the first team and how long they will stay there. One thing for sure though, this is one of the strongest youth groups with probably the highest number of players who could potentially make it. Delap, McAtee, Palmer, Lavia are the creme de la creme. The Doyles, Edozie, THB, Trafford have decent chances too. Pathway to the first team is difficult to see for most of them, but if they get there who knows.
