100%. He’s technically one of the best crossers in the league. This move compromises that completely. His positional sense is suspect, he gives the ball away a lot, one of the worst for it in the league. He’ll be back at right back by May

This moving Alexander-Arnold into midfield, is it some type of money saving method to then acquire a cheaper more defensive minded right back? Completely messes up the dipper system as it’s built on three disciplined centre midfielders protecting the centre halves and the full backs rampaging forwards.

How many times have we changed system under Pep? I don’t see why Klopp can’t make some changes after 7 years at Liverpool.

TAA isn’t a defender, but he’s obviously an incredibly talented creative player with good physical attributes so put him in midfield next to a sitter and a more subtle number 10 type to control the game and you’ve got a good midfield.

And exposes them defensively. Liverpool have 3 dogs of war in midfield. They’ll get torn apart if they go with this
