Well he is either making stuff up that will sound Nostradmus-like if Bellingham does join Madrid, or he is exceptionally well-connected at Dortmund or Madrid. Make your own mind up :)

Btw, my connections at Dortmund tell me they are discussing terms with Madrid this week or next week. 80% likely to join Madrid unless he doesn't. In which case he may join City. Or stay at Dortmund. Or whatever.

I think the hope comes from Madrid not paying what Dortmund want.

Rumours of Real offering £87 Million plus a lot of further additional payments. History shows us Dortmund dont tend to shift on their position with transfer fees and City will offer s more suitable offer.

Doesn't mean they won't come to some agreement, but nothing dramatic about any of this one way or the other as far as I can see.

If Bellingham doesnt want to join city as his first choice then politely decline when Dortmund come with their donation basket.

Its a policy that has served us well - all the top teams sign really good players for big money but our setup, the management and the team spirit means they make a better squad all round on the pitch. so just keep signing players who are excited to come to us and the let the likes of Pogba, Sanchez, Fred, Jorginho, Cucurella et all go stink the place up elsewhere
