But could all those reasons for Gvardiols poor form also be attributed to Rico Leis also.

I’m not denying he has some deficiencies but we might also find the new signings have those at the outset, especially during the adaption period.
 
So basically, they messed up by sticking him on a youth contract, him and his agent seemingly want city which has annoyed Valladolid because they had offers from other teams for more money, but him and his agent have said fuck that we've off to city and city will pay the break clause for the youth contract which is only 6m.

That's what I'm getting from what I've read.

I really don't think so bud tbh. Need the key physical attributes at the back as in any position.

We are signing massive monster rapid players who will give us alot more dominant solid quality. Key is also their technical ability/ mid/ long range switch attacking passes they all seem natural at doing too. If your good enough/ your old enough . . .

Makes me wonder why others would pay more. Is it that Bah didn’t want to pay it himself for them? Anyways good choice.

Hope you are right. One thing I’ve learned with a Pep team is the technical abilities, for the way Pep wants to play, far out weighs the requirements for physical ability.

We have seen Delph, Zinkchenko and now Lewis play in a fullback role, none blessed physically but with the technical traits to play in a Pep side.

I did read one article on Reis and although highlighting his talent, highlighted he had been a bit bullied this season by physically imposing players, so if we are making a switch to more physically dominant players he might need to make those adaptions.

There were loads who messed up. Rico had probably his worst game for us but he had little support defensively and zero passing options when he did receive it. Was a calamitous second half, and Rico struggled. Unlike you I’m not convinced dropping a lad in from the Brazilian league, facing Hakimi/Dembele would have fared much better in the same circumstances tonight.
