Know virtually nothing about him but i like the sound of this deal. Love a good prospect pickup and getting in there on a low risk gamble before they move to a team where they explode and get valued in the 10's of millions.

Also think it is smart to potentially loan him out to Lens, sweetener for khusanov, possibly knocked them down a bit on the fee, quickens the deal up as they don't need to find a replacement and they won't get ripped off in search for a quick replacement. We also get to send him to a club that we are obviously happy with the way they coach CBs

He hasn't been capped for Sierra Leone and some people think he is going to go into our first team??
Probably a sell on profit signing. We just bought just turned 19 year old Reis and 20 year old Khusanov and we are not loaning them out. Can't think of a player we bought, loaned out, and then brought into the 1st team. Zinchenko, but he wasn't in our best 11, more of a squad player. Time will tell anyway.

My question then would be, why is he being loaned out and not one of the others?
Perhaps he is happy to move on that basis and the others not so much. Or perhaps the club think the other two are ready now and he needs a bit more time, but will be, longer term. Or maybe they think his value will increase and it will be a big profit in a couple years whether he ever plays for us or not. Maybe he can't qualify for a work permit while the others can. Could be any of a number of reasons, really.

He has the best performance stats of any U20 defender in the top five European leagues. It is reasonable to assume that he may be brought straight into the squad; after all, that is happening with Khusanov and Reis, or seems to be.
