Got my lad his first season ticket this summer, and assumed he'd get Junior Cityzens membership as a part of that. He's just tried to log in to the portal though, and it won't let him.

When I log into tickets.mcfc.co.uk using his details, there's an option to buy Cityzens membership for £25. Does he have to buy this separately?! Seems a bit of a swizz if so, given that two of the main selling points they mention are exclusive windows to buy tickets, and money off tickets. As he now has a season ticket, neither of those apply.

Any advice appreciated!

It used to be in the cost of the season ticket. Can't see them changing it.

Is his date of birth correct? Can he or you log into his account on MCFC.co.uk? Not sure if the d.o.b. is listed there.

If it's his first card the cityzens memmbership might not be live til is card is issued, i know this happened to someone last summer.

Thanks for the advice fellas, much appreciated.

Apparently it's a fault that the club are aware of and are currently trying to fix. I have the same problem with my little boy's login.

I reported it last week to the club.
They are aware of the problem and hoping to resolve it asap.

yes, I had a problem with my sons online account a few weeks ago whilst trying to enter a competition, so think it is an issue for everyone.

on a separate note (I wasn't sure which thread to put it in) I got an email today stating that my credit card used for cup schemes had expired, I phoned up to provide the new details and found out that they had automatically entered everyone I pay the tickets for onto all 3 cup schemes again and not just the ones We were on last season. it may be worth double checking which cup schemes you have automatically been renewed for as apparently they take it from the data they had at renewal time the year before not the few weeks after renewal by which time you might have opted out.
