Just back from Arsenal.....

sadly thats london, i watched fulham v scousers in a pub and their crowd was the same, its the power of tv, they all want to say they ve been to a premiership game
More worrying that Arsenal can't sell tickets in their equivalent of our South Stand though. I'm no troublemaker but I always prefer being near the "other" lot.

i9n block 20 did anyone see that twat singing fuck off robinho when he got subbed?

and as regards to the opening post, i love a few beers and a sing before the game, most away games i drink to much, but one your in the ground you watch the match, get behind them, then sleep the beer off on the journey home

And is it just me who doesn't give a shit about how many german bombers have been shot down or not? there seemed to be some right knobs there who were more obsessed about comparing who was more pissed than watching the game and singing city songs. pissed me off to be honest
Yeah, those "fans" were complete ***** Please explain what the fcuk RAF shooting down German Bombers has to do with City ?? Oh, i forgot, we're playing a German team next week so better get the xenophobia started now.....to all those singing that song:get a life.

I noticed some utter fools in Santander, more interested in trouble than footy.

To all of them and on behalf of City fans

We want nothing to do with you.

Had a wanker behind me who wanted everyone to know he was City's biggest fan ever by never shutting up! Telling everyone he was going to Istanbul and if anyone gets a ticket before him then it's a disgrace as he was singing more than them.

He also never shut up about Munich. Total ****.

Not a lot wrong with that is there. After all making a noise is acceptable at a football game and he was not hurting anyone. Are you not being a wimp?

When you're singing alone whilst most are singing a total different song it gets a bit pathetic.

Keep singing Munich songs if you want Kevin.

Kevin is a name that always makes me smirk.

A truly deserved (and funny) response.

Wakey wakey Kevin, and welcome to the new millenium!

It was like a casting session for Shameless in our end y'day!
Was gobsmacked to hear a bunch of scallies singing "City's goin down with a billion in the bank' in the bar at h/t.
Horrible, horrible people.

Our fans were shite yesterday anyway, as were the team.

our fans were in better singing voice than the arse ones tbh....even at 1-0 down we were ok...after the second though we werent very good ..

Away support = fookin disgrace.

I went to the game yesterday and i have never felt more disappointed by my fellow City fans.

Arrived at the Drayton about 2:30 and there was one group of lads singing songs to get a bit of atmosphere going, but the majority of people just stood about quietly. The atmosphere outside the offy next door was miles better so we went there instead. Things didn't improve in the ground. There were pockets of people singing but where we were stood (near corner flag, row 13), it was a like a library.

Disgrace.

Even with the sh1t performance from the team, the one thing that can usualy be relied on, and what makes an away day worth the effort and cost is the atmosphere. Well, what a fooking shambles. If this is the sign of things to come then fook it, i'll go and watch park football on my Saturday afternoons. Embarrassing.

I'll no doubt get abused for this but anyone who was there will know that I'm speaking the truth. Sort yourselves out boys and girls, what the fook is going on.

Maybe just maybe, a lot of the infighting isn't being caused by City fans, but by reds that are coming to our games to cause unrest between City fans, as it seems to be working , as I konw for a fact that reds where at the AaB Aalborg home game and also got tickets for Hamburg game too.

United fans buying tickets to watch City play at Arsenal just so they can have a scrap? Get a grip lad.

I think there's a hell of a lot of pent up frustration amongst City fans. I'm not buying the excuse everyones expecting instant success, everybody I speak to understands it will take a while to come but I also believe that when fans see expensive, extravagantly paid proffessional footballers hardly break a sweat for the cause and it makes no difference if they don't set the value because they certainly negotiate the fucking personal terms then the frustrations kick in instantly. Whether your a Hughes in or out fan it's difficult to argue that our league form is nothing to write home about and in my opinion only I just don't see any real sings of genuine improvement at the moment. We're just coasting along doing as little as possible to win just enough games and if certain players aren't big enough or good enough to step up to the plate then reputations count for fuck all.
