Just been Dumped

Chin up mate. It's normal to hurt and it's alright to cry.

Allow me to be the first old duffer to get in the friendly 'Fuck me, 22 and single on a Friday?' Thump on the arm.

Don't get too pissed.

Listen to this poster,

I split up with my ex about a year ago and everything he said was correct.

I was in love and was in a bad place, you honesty get over it over time and now I'm dating again and don't feel like shit when I think about it.

Things will be fine mate, just don't rush into things and enjoy your mates company.

when someone you love doesn't love you anymore it hurts badly,im sure weve all been through it,i have, and I sometimes think what could of been ,the best thing to do is go out with your mates and have a laugh,

whatever you do don't think of the great sex you had with her, thats she probably having with someone else.

chin up son there's worst thing in life

Good advice as always from the trusted blues. I've been single a few months now and it is very true and it does get easier. Delete her number and facebook - honestly you have to tell yourself if it's not working now - will it in 5/10 years even if she did get back with you ? I was in last relationship for around 5 years - strangely when she ended it I was alot more upset that I wasn't going to be around anymore for her kid that I raised.

But these things happen. Enjoy single life, you got your footie and your mates that's the main thing. Keep active. 22 you really don't realise how young you are. You have years and years to find the right girl.

Up the hammers.

Hate reading stuff like this on here and my heart goes out to the OP. I myself put my own tale of woe on this very forum just over two years ago. Only serious bit of advice I could really offer is 'give it time' and the pain will slowly become less and less and you'll be able to step back and reflect. Ignore the idiots telling you to go and and shag all and sundry, it won't make you feel any better (deep down).

Man up. It's only a woman ffs, go out and get another one.

harsh, it may be ok for you with your clooney good looks but he could look like phil jones for all you know.

Phil Jones you say? Poor lad, no wonder she dumped him.

Poor girl having to settle for him in the first place you mean, if he looks like that **** he should be counting himself lucky he ever even got a sniff.

I think I need to see a picture of her so I can offer my sympathies.

Also as nobody else mentioned it, why would you LOAN money to the woman you live with, if the car is fucked then you get another one that is nice and safe for YOUR kid to travel safely in.

I must be an utter weirdo as I just go to work and the wife who works 2 days a week deals with all the bills from the joint bank account, it is a lot less hassle and when I want to buy something I ask her if we have enough cash spare for a purchase and then buy it.

Ironically she will have a post on mums.net calling you a tight wad, who is so far up his own upper middle class arse (nothing wrong with being upper middle class though) I just wouldn't want to be one.
