Just Imagine...

I don`t think that Arsenal will want to see Spurs qualify for the Champs league. With their title hopes over I hope Wenger throws a couple of kids in and that the players aren`t too motivated. I can also see Liverpool losing against Chelsea. No way that Gerrard and co. will want to see the scum overtake them with league titles won.
On that angle West Ham might not try too hard against City as they hate Spurs

We're 1 point ahead of Spurs going into the game against them on May 5th. Imagine the celebrations if we score a winning goal and knowing we'll be 4 points ahead and it's Champions' League football next season. It will feel amazing celebrating that winning goal. Hopefully the players will feel the same and will be desperate to make it happen.

I've got a wonderfully fertile imagination and the above is no problem for me. I am certain that the players are as desperate for fourth place as we fans are. They want to compete at the highest level and travel the length and breadth of the continent, Icelandic volcanoes permitting, so I am assured that they will bust a collective gut throughout the remaining games.

Hopefully this weekend works in our favour, We beat Arsenal and Rags beat Tottenham that would be the ideal scenario, Then two home games against Villa and Tottenham which I would be confident of winning both.

can't see that exact scenario happening. It would have to mean that we beat both Arsenal and Villa with Spurs losing to United. They will thump Bolton at WHL. Can't see them dropping points at home to Bolton or a Burnley team that has already been relegated.

Your always a nice little ray of sunlight you know try being positive for a change.

They're professionals, don't expect any of that nonsense.

I think there is more chance of it happening at the Liverpool vs Chelsea match to be honest. Gerrard, Carragher and Rafa all hate the scum / Baconface.

We might well have to serve up a nice dodgy lasagne when Spurs visit!

As long as we at least match whatever result Spuds get against the rags then we have a chance.
Villa on paper is tough, but by then they may be out of it with hopefully Birmingham doing us a favour in their derby.
What's the betting City do the biz against Arsenal, Villa and Spuds and then fall at the last hurdle against West Ham !!!

i hope we'll have a good ball diference

i hope the rags can win in OT against the spuds

and i also hope that we'll beat Arsenal

and i know we'll be in top 4

and i know that there is only 1 team in manchester and it is MCFC

go blues

even if I were to be optimistic and said we will beat Arsenal and Villa, can you see Spurs losing or even dropping points to Bolton at home? Bolton are woeful.

There's a difference between being optimistic and realistic.

What if the it all goes down to the last game? - We need 3 points at West Ham to be sure of 4th - West Ham are safe. Do you think the Hammers fans would be secretly hoping (or shouting) for us to stop the Spuds getting 4th (and the love of Tevez can't be ruled out)?
