WE'VE STILL GOT ROBINHO!

There are a few people on here, and defo media, forgetting a very important point.

We have this Brazilian legend playing for us already, how good will this guy be next season with the quality coming in around him?

Especially, Barry, who will cover behind him on the left.

I honestly think Robbie can win footballer of the year next season and score well over 20 goals. There will be more space than ever for him to exploit with teams concentrating on Tevez and Adebayor.

Remember Robbie was the first, and whatever his motives at the time, he is still our message to the football establishment and he will be THE MAN.

good point!

Great point well made. I firmly believe Robinho will be electrifying this season, even though he still was at times this year I think now he's adjusted he will become unstoppable.

I can honestly say i dont care who we sign this guy will always be the man as far as im concerned. I even broke a cardinal rule and got him on the back of my shirt!

Robbie was the first - the start of it all, the new blue rising... you will always remember the first the most... we can sign whoever now, i dont think i will ever get a buzz like i did that eventful day... also i agree he will be even better next season. Bring it on.

Agree completely, with Barry behind him it gives him license to concentrate on the attack. Hughes might have some things to learn tactically but I think his signings have been pretty well though out, especially Barry.

was my favourite player when he was at madrid. still cant believe he signed for us. that took balls. the first one to sign for the 'project' on offer. without his signature everything that has happened since would have been inherently more difficult. put us on the footballing map well and truly. we all owe robinho a big thankyou in my opinion.

I agree - the guy is getting close to legend status for me. I love how he buzzes from the crowd and is always looking to get us involved. A hat trick against the scum please robbie (pref in the cup final)
