Just Never Gets Old...

Still annoys me a bit that of the 3 goals we scored, I only celebrated zabba's.
I was fuming when dzeko scored because i thought it was too little too late and we could have still won it if the players had pushed more a little earlier. Then when aguero scored I was too emotional and in too much shock so I just fell to the floor crying.

Still, better than my mate who left on 88 minutes and was outside for the last 2 goals. He managed to climb back over a turnstile in a different stand and tier for the trophy lift.
Similar to me. I was furious when Dzeko scored and thought "typical City, we need 2 so they score 1 just to get us going!" whilst everyone else around me "got going"!
When Aguero scored I just kept muttering "no, we can't have just done that" over and over whilst staring at the ground! Odd but true.

Honestly, I thought CityTV started AFTER 2012! Don't think I really engaged with watching stuff online with the job I was doing at the time. Just never had the time!

Old to some of you. I just don't remember this at all, but then again I rarely go on CityTV!

Hats off to you, if you see yourselves, raise a glass to those that have left us since!

Enjoy!

I’ve not seen it before, either, but I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.

I have to take a certain amount of credit for the turnaround on that day. Just before half-time, our then 2 1/2 year old grandson wanted to sit in the aisle (our seats were right on the end of a row), so Mrs Vienna and I swapped seats, so that I could grab him if he decided to run off.

Just after we switched, Zaba scored. As we approached time added on at 90 minutes, I remembered that and suggested to Mrs Vienna that we do so again. We did, and the rest is history, as they say. I was holding our grandson when Sergio scored, though I wouldn’t want to now, as he’s several centimetres taller than me.

It was a brilliant outcome, but I’m glad we haven’t had that sort of tension and nervousness in any of our title wins since.

Just the most unbelievable moment. From the despair, and I mean despair - blowing it and the rag bastards winning it was just all consuming for the whole time up until that Aguero goal. There's never been a moment like it. I think what people who talk about it (non-City fans) usually forget is that side of things. Last minute goals to win games are huge, to win titles are monstrous, but a side living in the shadows like we did and going for 44 years without a title to suddenly be on the edge of losing it to our biggest rivals...before stealing back whilst they celebrated on the pitch - that goal will never be equalled.
The greatest moment in football history !!!

The 3-2 against Villa ran it pretty close.......

Now days there would be 2 celebrations, 1 for the goal then the next for VAR confirmation which would take 2-3 minutes!

I was lucky enough to be there aswell but honestly knowing now how it transpired I'd have given my ticket to an old boy who couldn't go and sat in a pub full of those cunts. Seeing their faces when that goal went in could sustain me until I'm 100.
Nothing will ever beat being inside Etihad on 13/5/12, not even seeing priceless looks on rags' faces.

Lost my shit when Dzeko scored. Stormed out of Waldorf absolutely fuming..

Fucking Tottenham...

I made an absolute arse of myself that game. Was working a late shift listening to the radio when Sterling scored I went bananas full on knee slides down the aisles and everything. Settled down from running about the gaff to see a couple of rag co-workers pissing themselves laughing saying its offside you silly ****

I was always weirdly confident even 2-1 down. I had a feeling we were going to win it in a way that mirrored the Gillingham game. I even went for a fag on 85 minutes and said to my Dad we'll equalise when I get back to the top of the stairs, and I timed it exactly right, the corner looped over to Edin just as I got back in view of the pitch. From then I just knew it was going to happen.

Doesn't even bear thinking about what it would have been like if we'd fucked it up. Don't think I'd have been able to stop myself diving headfirst off the top of the spirals to be honest.
