Just Newcastle between us....

City's attack should be far too good for their defence. They are not immaculate at the back, let's face it.

The fact that we have had 48hrs more rest must also be key, and they will probably not train until Friday which for me means we have a distinct advantage.

We need to keep possession, run them all over their huge pitch, and ensure Tevez and Aguero pressure their back four if they try to play out from the back.

Kompany and Lescott have a job on though, if they win their battles we have every chance. Fingers crossed.

Just to add some perspective, we are 18 points above Newcastle. They will have just as much pressure as us, If not more. St James Is a big pitch, they will play open attacking football and this will suit our game. I fancy us to win In style and stamp our name on the title almost.

Much rather this than Stoke away.

Nobody said It would be easy. Nobody said It's all done and dusted either.

It's simple. Play like champions and win!

Good post

We just need to play the game and not the occasion and we'll be fine

bottom line is that if we can go and win at the toon, then we are worthy champions, providing that hughes does not fuck it up for us on the last day.
The lads won't be nervous and if bobby starts with the same team, but imo put Richards on for Zabs, we can contain them and punch some holes in their defence.

Newcastle, like spurs, have been playing above their station and tonight, chelsea's mind was obviously elsewhere. I think they will feel the pressure on sunday more than us after getting through the immense pressure with the rags.

Toon fans are deluded. A glance at their forum thinks we're saying on here we'll walk it. Bollocks. They also seem to think we can't sell all our tickets. Erm, every game sold out?

Tossers. Oh and Ba is better than Dzeko. Yes well Dzeko won't be near the team, so I'd forget about him. Collocini knows all about Tevez and Aguero. Maybe so, but can he do anything about them?

They do suggest we just attack down their right though, so I hope Bobby is reading this!

Think the general consensus is that they think we're being arrogant, but they're the arrogant ones in saying they're going to ruin our party!

This is going to be an epic game of football both sides having something to play for. Just mindboggling how this season is unfolding with all the twists and turns and ups and downs of following our team. Rather this than a relgation fight but it seems to me that the nerves, tensions and emotion seem far more intense, just 90 fucking minutes...........

I wonder if the fa will give tiote a retrospective ban for his elbow on mikel,if you haven't seen it it's not good.
Also mikel should be banned as well as he certainly gets his own back which led to tiote being stretchered off.

I am actually quite confident going into this game. I can see both sides fully going for it and if that happens I can only see us as the winner. Our attack > their attack, Our defence > their defence, Our midfield > their midfield

Pardew just said that Tiote is fine and will probably play on Sunday.

You need to log off and go and have a lie down in a darkened room, your so negative, all bloody season you have been at it, chill out and wait for the game on Sunday FFS

Use the Foe feature, buddy. Works wonders.
