Just Newcastle between us....

We are unbeaten in the last 4 (W3, D1) Premier League visits to St James' Park and haven't lost there since Sep 2005

Well, I didn't expect us to do that!

People using these "our attack > their attack" formulas are making it appear far too basic, and some surprise results this season just prove that it's nowhere near as simple as that.

We've only lose twice at home, we have a side (and certain players) bang in form and we'll have 50,000+ of us cheering the side on. That always, always makes a difference.

I'm thinking it's quite even going into this match. Just don't know what to expect.

How did they play tonight? Impressive?

Going to be a brutal game Sunday, would be happy with 0-1, goal coming off someones arse from a corner.

I would take any kind of win. Anything short of a win and we will lose the league. We could run up a cricket score against QPR, but Newcastle is a different story.

They dominated Chelsea for much of the game and didn't seem to have to put in their greatest effort. They are uniquely good for such a cheaply assembled team, they're like the Napoli of England, come out of nowhere on a limited budget and one of the best teams in the league.
