My copy of Football With A Smile by Gary James. Can't wait to get stuck into it. I missed the Mercer/Allison years as I was born in 1970 and the only thing I've seen us win is the League Cup in 1976 and even then I can't really say I saw them win it because I was only 5 when they did, so it will be good to get an understanding of our greatest manager ever and his relationship with Big Mal.

Anyone else got it yet? Anyone read it yet?! Don't spoil it for us (I've got a feeling the butler did it myself), but what did you think of it if you've got through it already?

Hope you and everyone else who bought it enjoys it. Thanks for the support.

I've tried to make sure it appeals to all football fans, as well as City, and obviously hope people get a greater feeling for our Club and of course Joe.

Only 8 months for me;)

Saving it for the beach in 4 weeks along with Football for life. They've been looking at me on the bookcase saying 'read me !!!!!' for ages now.

Was a great read first time round. Very enlightening. Highly recommended for all City fans.

Looking forward to reading the update which arrived on Thursday.

Anyone looking for a Father's Day pressie, should take a look at it.

The book should now be readily available from most bookshops. It's already on sale at MCFC, Waterstones (most branches) and Amazon. Bizarrely, Waterstones Deansgate have yet to order it, but I'm sure they will soon. Waterstones Arndale and Trafford Centre have copies.

There are sample images/pages etc. at our Facebook page (you can also find out a bit about my next book there):

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/James-Ward-Publishing/266700661882?ref=ts" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.facebook.com/pages/James-War ... 882?ref=ts</a>

Thanks to everyone who has bought the book so far.

Great, thats Fathers Day sorted - three copies for my husband, dad and father-in-law, jobs a good un.

Do you think Waterstones in Alty will stock it? Then I dont have to drag my sorry arse to the Trafford Centre (I cant stand that place)
