Family friends brought a copy over for me last week,for my trip to Sweden that starts on Sunday,been a bugger trying not to get stuck in to it before i leave.Really looking forward to reading it.

Just got the book out of the luggage bag and checked the photos to see if you were taking the piss (page 239),please tell me that is a photoshop.
What year was that taken?,Baconface looks only half pissed.

I couldn't track down the exact date, but it has to be between Fergie's arrival in 1986 and 1988. Personally, I think it was a Granada TV function around Christmas-end of season 1986/7. It says a lot about Joe that he would even share a table with Peter Swales after what had happened.

Got my copy on Tuesday as a b'day pressie from the wife and really enjoying reading it

Have to say also my daughter bought me a rose bush for the garden named Blue Moon and i took great delight in thanking her and her Rag husband for spending his money on someting city related!!!!
