If over population is a problem .I don’t think overpopulation is seen as the upcoming problem that it once was. We used to have estimates of our population well exceeding 11 Billion but a lot of developed country’s fertility rates are already below replacement levels and even developing nations are seeing much greater suppression of population growth than expected.
I think the latest estimates put our peak population at 10.4 Billion now. And while that is still a lot of people, it’s only about 25% more than we currently have, and we have more than enough resources to service that if deployed properly. The big issue is going to be things like water security which is causing major problems in some countries like South Africa due to droughts… But that is a problem regardless, population increase just exacerbates it.
Shoot all the stop oil protesters.
