I don't have Alan Wiley down as a bad ref tbh. They all have bad games, but I'd say he was at the better end of the spectrum. If he has a stinker that'll be (at least) three poor refs on the bounce and my fears for football will grow just a little bit stronger...

not having a pop at the OP in particular, but the whole 'everyone is against us' mentality is getting a little bit sad on here. be it refs, sky, papers or sister theresa!

mind you, chris waddle clearly has a problem with us ;)

the refs thing is rubbish, and just enjoy the press stuff. no more 'plucky losers' or people's 2nd team due to living in the shadow of the evil red empire. bring it on!

Everyone has an opinion I disagree especially in regards the refs, if you honestly think Peter Walton isn't corrupt then you obviously didn't attend either the Liverpool or Everton game. I agree with you about everyone fearing us its great.

Am I the only one who thinks with the constant paranoia about refs, newspapers, TV channels and radio pundits it is little wonder fans of other clubs are disliking us more and more these days.

Everything we have ever accused United of seems to fill the pages these days, tiresome really

Why read it if it is propoganda then? If we ever want to be out of their shadow surely it should start with not giving a stuff what is written about or by them, be it negative or positive?

I don't worry about them, I worry about the impression of City fans that is prevalent these days and a lot of it is due to the attitudes I mentioned.
