Juve away

Where is best for drinking, heard a few say near the train station and others the shamrock inn which looks to be near the station so presume it’s best around there? We are staying about 5 mins from there so hoping so.
The Huntsman near Umberto metro is a great pub and always packed with Blues.. Had a great time there a few seasons back, despite getting beat 1-0

Wow…. I thought only people from Burnley could get away with doing that … :-)
@Blue Til Death it shows how poor airport security was, maybe still is.
My step son is 20 plus years younger than me, he has hair and the dead giveaway he has a different surname.
From Ryan Air, Italian passport control, the hotel to police at the ground, I managed to blag it. ;-)

I’ve booked the La Terrazza Di Arturo Guest House but I think it’s about a 30minutes walk from the station and valentine park so might try and book somewhere closer.

Is anyone travelling from central Milan by train on the Wednesday morning? Am taking my wee laddie for this first away European tour but I have no fuckin idea where am going .

Getting a flight from Edinburgh to Milan malpensa airport early Tuesday afternoon, going to stay over night in Milan then get the train into Turin on the Wednesday and stay there on the Wednesday night, heading back to Milan Bergamo airport for the flight back to Edinburgh Thursday evening.

We're on the 12:02 from Milan Central and got our tickets already on the Trainline App
Staying at the Best Western Plus Genova which according to Booking.com is only 500ft from the station

I remember the days of 4 pints at lunch time and then back to the office. Must be quite a rarity these days !
We had revised guidelines at work that if you had a drink at lunchtime your working day was over.

When we were told this we finished our drink and went home!
