I was in Rome last year on business; 1st time I'd been to Italy bizarrely enough. As well as the stunning architecture and history, it struck me that no matter what time of the day, the majority of the locals there - man, woman or child - were dressed to the nines; absolutely immaculately turned out. Everyone looked a million dollars.

Not a single estate brass wandering around the streets in pyjamas, big fluffy slippers and dressing gown.

Classy lot those Italians. Absolutely fell in love with the place.

I'll second that, they are collectively a very snappy dressing race. Even their tramps manage to look smarter than me ... but that's not too difficult i suppose.

Not as good as Portugese tramps. They don't get out of their box for less than £7m
