You are right actually. To be fair we were very lucky earlier in the season. Haaland was actually scoring which papered over the cracks but teams were still ripping us open and we were very lucky to record wins over Brentford, Fulham and Wolves

Well said, we just have to swallow some bad medicine.Every team we play waits. They don’t give us the space in the final third & then wait to use their speed when they can exploit our weaknesses.
Every team we play has pace. We have none, or the players that do like Haaland, are given no space to run into.
Does Pep see Lewis as Philip Lahm 2.0? I don’t get it.
Feels like we just rock up to every match without analysing what the opposition will do.
Anyway, we know our squad is small, missing players of the quality and bedrock of the last few seasons - stones, Foden, ake, Akanji, rodri, coupled with the ageing drop off of Walker, Gundo, Kev and Bernardo. That’s a huge hole. But I suppose this is the price we pay for winning 4 on the trot.
And being honest, if offered this situation after winning 4, I would have taken it in a heart beat. Nobody has done it before, and I’d be surprised if any team does so again in the next few decades, and I’ve got to remember that. A new, different cycle will begin.
Not blaming anyone at the moment. Buying 4 or 5 top class players to take over from some of the above last season or this was never going to happen. Top class players don’t sign to sit on the bench and wait their turn. Another reason no team has ever won 4.
Things don’t taste good right now, but we’ve had so much honey over the years and that taste will come back.
Right now, it may be a blessing in disguise. We might not make the playoffs.
Lose against the rags and I can see him walking.
We need to be mega vocal on Sunday and back the manager.
We can sell every single one of those useless embarrassments on the pitch for all I care but Pep needs our support.
Well. Not sure how we'll get out of this rut. Gundogan is pump, Lewis just doesn't have the quality, Walker is our Captain, our wingers don't know how to cross a ball. We play such a high line that it's difficult to think of a team who would struggle to make chances against us.
We better fucking beat those cunts at the weekend.
NopeGreat post match interview with Ilkay speaks truth to power
He's missed plenty, he doesn't get a pass.Goodness me, that was a hard watch!
How I fondly remember that time we got a cross in. Yes, it was last Saturday, and went right onto the head of our big 6'5'' centre forward. He scored!
I wonder if we'll ever see that happen again?
I bet Haaland thinks that too.
If 0 goals counted double we’d have drawn. Edit, 0 would have to count as 2.I think if other teams had scored less and we had scored more we could be top of the league.
I was going to wait until the thread doesn’t get a hundred posts per minute. But fuck it.
Some of you should fuck off and support someone else, and I say support lightly. Even camel gob has just said it right. It’s great when it’s going well, but when it’s not you dig in.
A complete **** in the match day thread said Haaland is rubbish. We didn’t do the treble without him. The previous Haaland we had, it was just nice to win.
Some of you need to get your minges turned back into cock and balls and man the fuck up. You are a disgrace!!!
We may as well just sack pep now before we lose anymore games..
Neither are at top flight clubs. At least Otamendi is still playing for a Champions League club. If there was an opportunity for the short term we couldn't do any worse but he won't accept that and we couldn't offer him more of a look in.All I'm saying is...fernandinho is still an active footballer.
Remember how david Pizarro did a job for us
Picking Lewis out of this shower shite as the problem is kinda dumb.I dont know why we are not putting Nico O'reilly in midfield he's 6ft 3, he's got to be a better option than lewis from a physical point of view
Is Gerry Gow available too?All I'm saying is...fernandinho is still an active footballer.

They are way out of form and playing it safe in the final third for sureOne thing that really wound me up tonight is how many times we not only just pass it sideways, but when we rarely did have chance to push forward we pass it sideways so the player receiving it always has to stop and wait for the ball.
In the past I remember players and pep talk about positive passing, effectively passing the ball so players can come on to it and positively impact the game. At the moment we are the complete opposite. Confidence is on it’s arse, but we are so negative with the ball now, teams don’t need to do anything other that make it difficult for us and they know how bad we are defensively they will get their chance to win.
