FFSI miss Riyad
We are too old to do that. None of our players want to run. And when they do, the guy on the ball is too scared to attempt a risky pass.Just be more pragmatic, invite teams on and we play on the break otherwise we get bummed on Sunday
Lose against the rags and I would expect him to walk.
He's never known anything like this but he knows that it can get even worse. The sad fact is that the players just aren't good enough to play in his system, and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it before January.
Sunday is a must-win for us. Anything else is totally unacceptable.
Still created chances.Their goals both came from him giving the ball away.
A top team doesnt carry passengers......Unless Saudi offer mega money he is staying and with legs around him he can continue to contribute
Resigned you say! (Kidding!)Pep and the players look resigned to defeat
I'm concerned about Pep not in terms of his job but his ability to see us through until we can rebuild with new players. You can't be concerned about Pep. He knows the issues but he also knows the season is long, the players have delivered so much up to now, and that there's no need to panic.
He has consistently talked about being better with the ball because when we lose it we cannot cope. Yet again their goals came from giving it away and leaving us exposed. We aren't patient in our build up, and when we lose it we don't have the shape.
He either needs to change things to give us better shape and accept we will lose the ball, or try and change players so we stop losing it. The trouble is we aren't stacked for options at the moment. It's now, more than ever, Pep wants us to pass teams to death. But that's not what is happening on the pitch.
