Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Just be more pragmatic, invite teams on and we play on the break otherwise we get bummed on Sunday
We are too old to do that. None of our players want to run. And when they do, the guy on the ball is too scared to attempt a risky pass.

Everyone is hiding from a pass. Bernado, Kyle, Gundo, Erling and Rico all his today.

It's pretty much down to Doku and Jack as they only 2 players who aren't hiding.

And the press is putrid.

A carbon copy of Saturday

We get the equaliser, with 20 odd minutes still to play, and we barely register an attempt on goal.

Fast forward to tonight, Gundogan had that shot saved with 20 odd minutes left, and again, I can't think of another meaningful attempt on goal for the remainder of the game.

When the rags were in their pomp and were losing games, there'd be an ONSLAUGHT on the opposition goal

WTF is going on?
Have the players downed tools!?
Are they knackered?
Pep makes 2 substitutions and brings on players who have poor end product.
What was the point of taking Foden if he wasn't going to play him. Boost his Air Miles? Get a giant Toblerone and a bottle of aftershave from Duty Free. If he's been ill, he might as well stayed at home.

Too many touches, and not enough shots.

Lose against the rags and I would expect him to walk.

He's never known anything like this but he knows that it can get even worse. The sad fact is that the players just aren't good enough to play in his system, and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it before January.

Sunday is a must-win for us. Anything else is totally unacceptable.

Of course you expect Pep to walk if we lost our next match.

The flapping and over-reaction on here is predictable.

You can't be concerned about Pep. He knows the issues but he also knows the season is long, the players have delivered so much up to now, and that there's no need to panic.

He has consistently talked about being better with the ball because when we lose it we cannot cope. Yet again their goals came from giving it away and leaving us exposed. We aren't patient in our build up, and when we lose it we don't have the shape.

He either needs to change things to give us better shape and accept we will lose the ball, or try and change players so we stop losing it. The trouble is we aren't stacked for options at the moment. It's now, more than ever, Pep wants us to pass teams to death. But that's not what is happening on the pitch.
I'm concerned about Pep not in terms of his job but his ability to see us through until we can rebuild with new players.

We ain't improving or looking like we even have a plan.
