It would be nice if once every now and then one of our team would just fucking leather the ball when having a shot instead of trying a nice little curler or a little dink.
Stop spinning it a ,,I'm not wishing it infact i think the best for all concerned would maybe for him to walk
Answer me 1 question,
Would you be quite happy for this to continue for the next , let's say 5 seasons ?
Because on what your saying ,you would be , what I'm saying is exactly how long is to long? Serious question
Got to go with Kova/Nunes in central midfield… at least they are proper Central Midfielders and can get about.Same old same old I’m afraid…..story of our season.
Something has got to change, apart from Kova coming back I cant see where the midfield is going to improve.
- Very little creativity apart from Kev who got more and more sloppy as the game went on.
- Caught out playing a high line once again. Doku lost the ball and hey presto Juventus are on the counter.
- The inverted full back is costing us in every match.
- Build up too slow and side to side to side to side to side and then no ball into the box.
- Walker once again not trying to stop a cross coming in and costing a goal.
- We probably had as many chances as Juventus but drew a blank due to wastefulness.
- Weak in the tackle.
- Wide men that can’t cross.
I think this is Pep’s biggest ever challenge with probably the least talented squad he has ever managed and he cannot stubbornly stick to what was previously tried and tested.
All the more odnf a case for future planning and recruitment
Good 6 months from 4 years is simply incorrect.Lol at Grealish being there, sorry but a good 6 months from 4 years doesn't make you top quality.
Needs must for 4 on bounce champions. Fuk me what a load arrogant bollox. Please play the kids not weak past it playersHe's never been the quickest defensively but he shouldn't be playing this amount of games really, but needs must.
But it's not just him, our team defending is awful.
Players need to do their jobs, if you're a fullback for instance, defending is your number 1 priority. They're being caught out of position, it's costing us goals and it happens every game.
The serious and only answer to this is that if this time next year we've dropped out of European places and look like we are struggling to qualify again we hold off on offering him a new contract. He's earned his two years and an opportunity to rebuild, it's bonkers to suggest otherwise. It's bonkers to suggest a tough run amidst very obvious caveats when we are still top four is a crisis so bad you disregard the best manager in the history of the club for a manager who would be considered a success if he achieved 1/3 of what Pep has achieved for us in the same timeframe.Stop spinning it a ,,I'm not wishing it infact i think the best for all concerned would maybe for him to walk

Answer the question then ,,how long ?You think its best for everyone concerned that Pep walk?
This bad period we're going through has been just over two months. Two months and you, and lots like you, have lost your heads.
We've been the most successfull team of the last decade and all it took was two bad months to think our greatest ever manager should walk.
There is more chance of me starting in central midfield than Nunes, forget about it mate, Pep won't change his mind.Got to go with Kova/Nunes in central midfield… at least they are proper Central Midfielders and can get about.
Come off it. What disappoints me is some of our bottle job fans who start throwing around a variety of opinions 'My mate knows someone who works at City and he says...........' One bad run in nine or so years isn't losing the plot. Get a grip.Pep has definately lost the plot. Sooner we crack on the better . . . .
I thought it was Anfield levels of bad, side to side keep ball with zero attacking threat coupled with an AWol defense and teflon keeperI thought we played quite well in large parts of the game. it's the final third thats the real problem. Bottom line is we couldn't be a depleted Juventus. Other than that, if Haaland cannot convert atm then lets play an invisible cf. We won the league with that tactic. The season is going to produce very little so let's give the younger ones a chance to shine. For Rico is can run his socks off but does he really offer much more than that?
At least he didn't say 99% right and 1% wrong unlike somebody else associated with the Club this week!Gundogan is right - we're doing 90% of what we need to do and getting caught out.
Haaland should score first half and the first goal contains another error.
There was no need to play quicker etc, we created sufficient openings to score. It's just a fraction or so off. Juventus played it tight and took their opening - Haaland and Doku need to get an understanding as it has cost us again.
But as ever, how we attack is how we defend. The second goal is a poor give away and then panicked running that leaves a gap for Danilo to pass into, from there we're in trouble.
The only difference I would make is calming the press down. I'm convinced the high press era of football is coming to an end, with teams & systems better suited against it. A majority of the PL teams are now more of a threat when they have less possession.
Mate he's been bang average every season except the treble season, he hasn't been worth 50 million let alone 100.Good 6 months from 4 years is simply incorrect.
Grealish been important factor in pretty much all seasons hes been hear. People just confusing top quality and numbers. Grealish, when not injured, been playing great majority of games. During these years we broke records in club football.
For Pep and for achieving some of ever best records in football history by City team, Grealish had to be top quality otherwise we just would not done what we did. As simple as that. And thats why he just been worth the price.
Grealish is about control, link up play, impeccable reception, hes working hard in games, defensively too.
I get argument with numbers (G/A). He should have had more. They are not a bit low, they are low for attacking midfielder/winger (and those blocked shots are really pissing me off). But for me its worse to say hes not been an important factor over last 3 seasons. And this season he just has started, been injured a lot. We gonna see, maybe the best from Jack is yet to be seen.
He was never a good 6 even in his prime. It’s not his game and it’s definitely not his game at 34. Midfield is getting caught way too high. Lewis is inverting to the 8 spot. Hes way too high too. We have no recovery from midfield whatsoever. He's never been the quickest defensively but he shouldn't be playing this amount of games really, but needs must.
But it's not just him, our team defending is awful.

Right, so what we're watching from Rico, Gundo and Silva week in week out is good enough ? I'm not saying the 3 youngsters are good enough I'm saying they can't do any worse than the shitshow we're seeing yet they don't play a minute, Pep has his favourites that's all.
