On the flight to milan now. Never been before but there's a pub two mins walk from duomo square called 'the English football pub' or something. Naff I know but it seems milan is a cafe type place. We're going there for the footy tonight

Only just got your message but ended up there anyway. No other City fans here yet but it's only early. It does seem to be cafes and restaurants around Milan. €7 for 2 pints of Heineken in here it's happy hour though. Paid €16 for less than 2 pint in a cafe before!

No longer happy hour but €5 a pint of Heineken not sure about house beer, spirits ect. Half pub blocked off for Roma game, they're expecting a few Roma fans.. Showing Arsenal game in other room.

I went to the game in 2010 and we flitted between the Huntsman and the Irish bar over the road - I can confirm that the beer was indeed shite on tap in both places but remember the Irish bar doing big fuck off 660ml bottles of San Miguel for about 5 Euros a pop!

Woke up a while ago, spent a couple of hours in a bar frequented by Torino fans, we were made to feel very welcome.
Decent beer at reasonable prices too.
We were wished well for tonight's match by those we spoke with.
Cold out here though!
