Spent 99% of last season slagging off Doku (looked unplayable for large parts) and Nunes (a different player now that he's found some confidence), so either of those two.

Fresh season, fresh slate.

Also - Rudi and Rodders - they could rival Xavi & Iniesta, if first impressions are anything to go by.

I'd hardly watched Wolves last year - RAN a total surprise to me, really excited by him.

I can see a City team where everybody is somebody's favourite player.

For most of last season, during the matches it felt inevitable that we'd shoot ourselves in the foot. Last night, pretty much from the start, there was an inevitably that we were going to win.

Something must have transformed training, maybe, so huge credit to the backroom staff.

A few false dawns last year, but this feels real.

We need 2 mate for a long season and especially a specialist one. We’ve finally got a genuine left back and it would be nice to be strong in both fullback positions for the first time in over a decade
It's not even a question that it would be nice- but if you told me we could have near what we had in the last decade over the next- I'd snatch your leg off.

He didn't stand out as a motm player, but how good was bernardo? His legs definitely haven't gone.
He was overplayed last season because of the injuries. Hopefully, despite being made skipper, his workload will be lighter this season. I think Fernandinho only started about 50% of matches when he was captain. That seems likely a reasonable target for Bernardo
