Juventus (N) | CWC | Post Match Thread

No he was at fault for the goal for a starter, as a defender that makes him poor. He maybe better next time and concentrate fully. No point not commenting on what everyone saw with their own eyes

He wasn't the only one "at fault" for the goal - it's just scapegoating.

Apart from that save?

The shit he’s getting is disgraceful.
I wouldn't blame him for much other than for the first Juve goal, and he won't need telling about that ...... he pulled off that save in the second half which kind of atoned for it, and Juventus didn't really create all that much more until their late second goal.

Just seen the highlights, that Ait Nouri pass for the first and the finish from Sav for the 5th were amazing, great team performance all round!

They’re allowed a gaff though without a pile on. I’m sure they were all grateful for his late heroics v inter.

FFS the only club at the tournament to get 3 wins and people are still finding something to whinge about. Can't you people just get a kick out of the positives and just for once stop bloody moaning?

No it's not he was ball watching didn't even know where the man was and was the only one playing him onside. So from a defensive point of view it was his fault.
He turns off too often recently, i wish he didn't I have no reason to not want him to play well.

How does that work out , is it 15 million a game

6 million for 3 wins , 7.5 million for reaching the last 16, and 39 million for playing in it. That's USD so equates to 43.5 million GBP. That's why it was important to make sure we did well in this when CL qualification looked ropey in April and May. Now it's just more money in the coffers.

In contrast winning all your games then winning the CL nets you £73 million. Big money this tournament.

They’re not robots! Add that heat and humidity. Woukd you have done better?

The ONLY team from 32 teams to win all their games in the group stage, and we battered the second best team in our group.

13 scored, 2 conceded, the best team we played were the Moroccan team, yet they lost to the UAE team tonight.

Exciting game on two levels, one being the implications for the future.

Early days but something is happening. Looks like the new coaches have started to influence Pep.

Rodri being back and looking like he can get back to his best is also a huge boost. We saw today why we missed him so much.

He was crucial to the Foden goal too, the long ball to Haaland, his touch....
