Better kick off time with the heat and likely to be a better draw and the easier side of things as well (at least on paper). Not great for us at home but I'd rather not watch us play Real Madrid (and if we play them at 2am I'll stay in bed)!

You'll be good. I had a very small TIA a couple of year's ago although it took a couple of weeks of mis diagnosis of a "probably a migraine" despite me telling them that I lost power in my arm for a few seconds and that I don't get migraines. Means I'm forever on pills but it's seen as a early way of avoiding a major stroke. You shouldn't drive for a month though as your insurance will be invalid.

Jesus mate, I felt genuinely sorry to hear that. I'm sure it's no big comfort but my Dad had two TIAs in his 60s and he's now 83 and going on strong. Has had no surgery, nothing but lifestyle changes (which didn't include booze. He drinks every night without fail) You're one of my favourite posters and part of the furniture here. Best wishes mate.Keep us informed.

Watched our last game at 2.00am, took me until Wednesday to recover!

Nice words Dave thank you mate. Fly home Monday, straight into nhs 111 as soon as I get back. Yesterday I thought I was having a heart attack, then they said probably a stroke, so IF the TIA diagnosis is correct I guess that’s a bonus. The doctor was Hungarian, not good English (her not me lol) so it was hard to know what she was saying
