Juventus - stadium entry ID checks?

Regarding the necessity to have names on tickets for the Juventus game on the 25th November, I have read that names will be written on tickets which must correspond with ID to enter the stadium.

I want to ask - to anyone who has been to Juventus stadium before - if they simply check that the name on the ticket is the same as on your ID, or do they have a list of all the registered ticket-holders that they check against too?

In other words, if ticket was sold to someone else and the name on it changed - is there any chance the Juventus stewards would clock on? Wondering if it's worth bothering spending so much on a ticket if it's possible that I'll be refused entry. I certainly don't have enough "points" to buy a ticket via the official channels, but could get one from someone who does.

To be honest I wouldnt know but considering that we seem to have upset UEFA for some reason I wouldn't be surprised if they asked the local authorities to take extra care checking the ids of city fans.

They checked ID when we played them in the UEFA Cup the other year. My mate didn't have any so they didn't let him in, they let him in after about 20mins though if memory serves

It's an Italian thing. In Rome last year one of the six checks getting in I was asked for ID. It was a token look at my passport. City write your name on the ticket in pencil so don't worry about it.

My ticket had another name on it .wrote in ink.some city lads at airport had a tip-ex. Wrote my name over. Night of the game carried my credit card . at the turnstiles ( pitch black and fuckin freezing) told them not carrying passport in case I lost it on the piss all day..got in no problems. There were city stewards at the gates helping some lads out waving lads through.. . be very surprised if we sell this game out. .

I'd be very impressed if we sold out for this game to be honest, with or without a result in Seville
