Juventus travel package

Just booked my train ticket from Paris to Turin - it's direct and only takes just over 5 hours. If there's any other blues based in the Paris area thinking about going - there's a train at 7.45am on matchday that gets in Turin at 1.15pm. Train back on Friday at 5.30pm. Looking forward to a top trip - how many blues are going? - I know they have only give us an initial 1400 tickets but I'm sure they'll be more that that wanting to go.

So you really think the officials / Authorities are going to stand there on the night, checking the name on your match ticket against your ID.

PLEASE

Spike. You've done lots of trips around Europe. Is this sort of thing ever enforced? If so, will have to hope it goes open sale or risk it.

Anyone been to Milan before? A lot seem to be going there on Wednesday night, just wondered where's good to go to for a few drinks. Something Poznan's main square would be perfect, but alas, not every European is perfect in that way :o(

This is apparently a decent pub with pretty good prices, I got a guide book and it recommended it.

Certainly the cheapest. Was in Milan last week and €6.00 was the price we paid for a large beer (500ml).

I've been on it and it looks good, they shipped most of it from England apparently.

Milan- Will post a couple of boozers we've used in the past, and if anyone wants a classic restaurant, them PM me.

Turin, we've got a boozer sorted, will post prior to departure.

Tickets, I understand that they write your name on the back of the ticket in Pen, The Club are simply following UEFA directives, if they are checked on the evening, then it will be the first time I've ever known it to happen, and it will be chaos.

Again I maintain that extra tickets will be available, if necessary, and it will go on open sale eventually.

Finally, we've still got places left for the trip, since monday we've sold 22 places, again this as a result of people actually getting tickets in their hands first, then arranging their travel.

If there's any other info required PM me, regardless if you are, or are not, travelling with us, I'll try and help

Up The Blues

Picked 3 tickets up today. Staying in Milan on Weds. Is it better to book trains in advance? Any others in milan and what time you planning to get the train to Turin on Thurs?

For anyone going Milan, you should go to the bars around Corso Como. That is where the nightlife is, but its a bit from the city centre. Some of the clubs are expensive though, as thats where Ronaldiho and others party.

Regarding the checking of ID and tickets before the game. This is normal in Italy. Was at the Spurs game at the San Siro and they check everyone going in (even home fans).
