Full time retired.
Can't see it mentioned but how bad is that, it makes Bolton look crowded.

I know Fulham aren't a great prize in the Europa cup, but its pretty dreadful, and I bet Fulham have taken 1,000-1,500.

Its said that one in three footy fans in italy is a juve fan. when they play in milan and rome they can have 20k fans there, but at home in the league only 18-20k turn up. strange.

Less empy seats there than we had v Fulham in the Cup.

Fans can't afford to go to football in Italy, there has been a decline for the past 15 years.

More to do with TV coverage than money. Some tickets in Italy costs about £10. I went to Milan a couple of years ago, flight from Liverpool costs £12 return with ryanair, total cost with a ticket to see AC was £30.

Juve's ground is on the outskirts of Turin with no public transport available. They've had shit crowds for years.

Juventus only average just over 20,000 anyway. And as you say Fulham aren't exactly a crowd puller.
Their stadium's capacity is not much more than 20k, to be fair. They are moving to a new stadium soon.

I hate to question your comments but when I went to watch Torino there was a pretty frequent Number 4 tram that took you within walking distance of the ground...Juve home crowds are crap though...but hellfire ...if they play at say...Bari next week there will be thousands of them there

They're supposed to be one of the main clubs in Italy, in fact back in the 80's they were supposedly the most supported.

No matter what people say a crowd of less than 11,500 is a pretty poor effort, and the comparison of empty seats v City is not an argument. Its nothing to do with %age of capacity, and the public transport argument is also a non starter too.

I've no beef with Juve at all, but I was just pretty shocked to see the attendance, its not as if it was a first or second round game.

I hope Fulham can overturn the result tonight, because big or not, the Juve fans don't deserve to progress.

They are still the most supported in Italy, just not by numbers in attendance.

It's been going on for years, their worst crowd was in a cup game v Sampdoria, not sure of the date, but only a few hundred shown up (no exaggeration).

However, to say there was only 11k there tonight.. the atmosphere sounded quite good at times, that's why the moved away from the Delli Alpi, it was far too big for their attendances, and no atmosphere was generated at all, thus moving them to a more compact stadium.

I thought they moved to their current ground because the Delli Alpi is being renovated, admittedly with a reduced capacity, but catering for corporate clients, an innovation in Italian football.

I agree though, they did generate a good atmosphere at times.

how many did fulham take roughly? i mised this game as i was playing footy myself, did they manage 100 fans
