There's been brief spells under Pep's reign where you feel like the goal is to have a fluid attack, whether that means consistently interchanging positions or just occasionally swapping positions when necessary. I think the first notable time was away at Old Trafford in the 17/18 season where Jesus, Sané, and Sterling were rotated around.You can see the KDB comparisons because he’s picking passes for goals but you can also see Lewandowski comparisons with his size and technical ability. Didn’t I read somewhere that he doesn’t want to be a CF? I think he’d make a ton of sense for us there
We've seen it quite a bit this season, especially when we play Mahrez, Sterling, and Jesus. There are spells where we see Mahrez and Jesus all over, and Sterling coming inside occasionally. On top of that, we have it where one or BOTH the CMs venture forward into the false forward role.
Havertz I would assume is someone we could see in any of those roles. In midfield to attack the spaces, or a versatile attacker anywhere in the front three. If he's as good as he looks you're potentially getting 3 players for the price of 1.
If I HAD to guess though, we'd see him used similarly to Foden but on the right, at least at first. I don't think it's his best starting position but as I've suggested it's about the fluidity as much as anything.
If he's available and wants to join, this is a no brainier. He's so good. As for where he'd play, it doesn't really matter. He can make an impact anywhere in the final third. The fee he'll command would be a lot but he's worth it.

Looks very much Chelsea bound. Lot of reports came out saying he wants to go there and has agreed to go there its just about the fee with Leversuken they need to agree with
That was the case until we got in touch.
Would be a great signing his extra height means he could play false 9 and be on the end of crosses. Or could play across midfield.

Serious question: would this significantly affect Foden's game time?
If he doesn't want to play as the main man up top and he prefers playing centrally to out wide then it looks like he'd be eyeing up David's spot.
Cracking player (bit of an understatement) but if it's at the expense of Phil then it's a resounding "no" from me.
