Whoever we get in at CB is going to need better protection from the midfield in front than our current crop get. I think even VVD would struggle at times in this team. We need athleticism, positional awareness and some good old fashioned shithousery adding at DM, players like Partey, Ndidi and Camavinga would fit the bill.

If you want to talk about the present, the 2 teams who play the highest lines in the PL are Liverpool and City.

And the team with the highest line in the CL is Bayern.

High line is not a problem with an effective press. Look at us v real and Liverpool. Bayern the other night. When we have Jesus sterling and foden we are a machine. Our high line keeps the pressure at boiling point. If falls flat on its arse when we dont have the press.
