Kalidou Koulibaly

I refer to balance, as the ability to play on both sides. Walker would struggle to play on the left wouldn't he?
A poster said we couldn't have three Cbs all preferring left side, yet the Liverpool Cbs, (best ever in the world) all right sided. If as a centre back you are not adaptable enough to play on either the left or right of a partnership of two, you shouldn't be at City.
If Koulibaly for example is worth 60, 70 , 80 million, he should be equally comfortable on either side .
If a player is balanced , you rarely notice he is one footed.
Colin Bell for example, couldn't kick it with his left foot, most city fans wouldn't know it though.
I wonder if the solicitors who won us the UEFA/CAS case can write with both hands? If not, we should surely have just told everyone we would accept the two year ban, fucking useless bastards weren't good enough for City all along.

There's Italian clubs and then there's De Laurentiis who is on another level entirely. This will end up costing north of £70 million pounds plus add ons (Van Dyck money). He will extract every last penny he can from us.
ADL is a clown really, but unfortunately we are very short on options if we're looking for experienced centre backs who've also played regular CL football, barely any on market, so it makes sense ADL is playing hardball because he knows City will eventually pay what he asks.

Obviously not ideal, but I've liked the looks of Koundé at Sevilla and Upamecano at Leipzig recently, but they're quite young and we seem to have no interest in that age bracket. Guess we have to take what we can, at least he upgrades Stones and Otamendi.

Aside a few purple patches, his time as City has largely been average /injury filled, and his highlight has been that meme clearance off his own error vs Liverpool. Says a lot.

Exactly. People point to 17/18 where he had about a 10 game stretch where he was good in a season where he didn't even appear in half the games that season. After 4 years here, he hasn't put up a single good season. If Blues showed the same patience they do with Stones for every other player, Delph would still be here.

Stones is the only player we have bought under Pep who's neither improved under him nor gone up in value. Almost every single signee has since Pep arrived, that should tell enough.

We have a realistic valuation. £65m is the limit
