Kalidou Koulibaly

If any club has broken the spirit of FFP over the years it is FFP. Taking Neymar from Barcelona and then Mbappe from under the nose of Real madrid was in the face of UEFA. I don't have a problem with it because I don't like the device anyway but PSG beat a bent system. Don't tell me PSG upheld the values of FFP.
PSG absolutely did.

Just recently you have Juve offering a 2 year loan deal for Morata + option to buy. Loan with obligatory (or not) option are nothing new in football. The only thing that has annoyed people in the case of Mbappé is the high value of that option.

It was up to Monaco to decide if they wanted to accept that offer and they did. I see nothing wrong.

FFP doesn't tell you you can't propose a loan. FFP does tell you you need to balance your account to break even. UEFA decided take into account the amortization of Mbappé since the loan year as if it was a direct transfer ( the loan was actually optional with the trigger being PSG not being relegated and UEFA decided it was an obligatory option due to the nature of the triggering clause).

So, again, not a scam. PSG highly respect FFP as they can't even complete the loan of Dele Alli. We all know they could buy anyone if they weren't respecting FFP scam.

Wave goodbye to your credibility. You’ve been at it for years going back to Ibrahimovic and Cavani. Michel Platini turned a blind eye, couldn’t very well prosecute his son could he?

What is the problem with buying Ibrahimovic ? The guy transfer was 25 M...
What is the problem with buying Cavani too ?

It only shows you have no credibility about FFP if you want to put those transfers at some kind of no FFP compliance.

So what ?

They spent all that money on two players and since then they can't spend money for shit. If they were not trying to balance the accounts for the break even rule, they would keep buying very expensive players.

Another evidence is the loss of ticketing and lounge money (more than 100 M) = PSG asking loans for every player.

Meaning they are indeed working in the boundaries of their income. And this is the club who received the most money from UEFA this year.

If you want to talk about FFP, you need to see the whole numbers :

What is more telling is UEFA needed to review and devalue PSG contracts they had agreed to 3 times in order to find a way to punish PSG for these transfers. Hence why it isn't that clear cut about "omg, they spent 400 M on two players". Real Madrid did spend 300 M+ last year (not on two players but it doesn't matter). What matters is to break even between your expenses and your incomes. Since Neymar/Mbappé transfer, PSG commercial income grew and PSG sold more.

tbh you’ve got receipts ... well underpinning evidence informing opInions.

The fact is PSG are the dominant football club in the nation that are World Cup holders with a population greater 10m greater than England.

Revenues for a club whose league produced 2 champs league semi-finalists should stand favourable comparison with big clubs in England, Spain, Germany & Italy in terms of commercial appeal & revenue generation.

PSG bought Neymar and Mbappe in the one Summer but paid for Mbappe the following season. That was a trick.
