The narrative is clearly being set by Napoli that we are waiting until September to complete the deal, so that when they miss out on this Gabriel kid then can use that as the excuse, it's complete bollocks.

Also wouldn't entertain them for a second if they start fucking about with Chelsea, I'd just move on.

If you compare Kompany to Silva, you instantly see captain material from one of them.

Imo Pep should just make Kevin the captain. He's the best player and is vocal, I dont think anybody is better suited.

I completely agree with De Bruyne, I think that's as close to a guarantee as possible next season.

I disagree with the Kompany and Silva comparison though, you can lead in lots of different ways, it doesn't have to be the most vocal in my opinion.
