There have been a few false dawns with this one but if KK does sign, it should bring some solidity to our defence. If the price is under €75m that's £70m. A bucket full of cash but Burnley are trying to get over £50m for Tarkovsky. FFS that is scandalous. In context £70m for an experienced CB even if 29 is decent value. I'm sure we've got other irons in the fire if this goes pear shaped. But teams like Dortmund and Leipzig seem to identify young talent in all areas and then develop it.

We have brilliant facilities the best coaches all light years away from Platt Lane! I hope we can start unearthing a few gems.
