at what point DO we move on though? We should have known what ADL was like and it seems we chanced our arm thinking the market would have dropped significantly and it hasnt? The new season is upon us and pep was alleged to want all new signings in before pre season?
Yeah don't understand this stubbornness from our board knowing that they already missed out on a priority target the season before and it cost them dearly. Fair enough they are not wanting to pay the quoted price but at least don't stick to the same offer knowing it won't work. Season upon us and not done yet, either be done with or move on imo. Very annoying to follow this.

Apparently Koulibaly's agent has asked City to raise their offer to about €75m including add-ons. I don't think Napoli will go lower than this. Either accept it or move quick for someone else, otherwise we'd be too late in bringing anyone in.

We move on when the club think there’s no deal to be done, maybe they have, maybe they have no need to . We haven’t the faintest idea where we are with the deal so can’t say whether there is any need to move on or not.
As I said before I doubt we have even put a bid in for him . All this paper talk makes us look like Man Utd . We don’t do business like this because we are better than them .

I can't understand what the problem is with this now. If the guys going to improve our defence he's worth what Napoli want. If we're griping over a few million we need to move on.

He will need time to train with the team as going to Wolves on the opening fixture isn't easy.

After a promising start to the transfer window it's starting to feel very "meh". If we don't get this guy in we won't win either the PL or CL again this year.

It’s all Napoli doing the constant media bullshit reports.

We make a bid early what we think is fair than leave it there if it gets rejected we usually come back later lift the the bid an extra few millions! Problem is is these other clubs and agent can’t shut the fcuk up reporting all the bullshit in the media.

How hard can this transfer be? If he’s worth 60 then he’s worth 70. What’s the cost of not doing the deal?

Are we seriously suggesting we play away at Wolves with Ake and Fern at the back?

Ake and Stones?

There is no confirmation that Laporte cant play either at the moment is there due to his quarantine (along with Mahrez) -

Ake's pace against the wolves break away would be very useful actually.....along with Walker he is now our fastest defender (even if we get Koulibaly)

Laporte and Mahrez be fine for next week.

How do we know it's City, who 'have to' pay a certain fee ?

Perhaps City have said what their maximum bid is & that's it ?

Or perhaps Napoli haven't actually set a price & City are refusing to bid & be fucked about, for maximum publicity again ?

Or perhaps an agreement re selling Zinchenko is part of the problem ?

City have said nothing. All the stories are coming from Italy. Why, if they want to keep him ? Why don't they just shut the fuck up & get on with their season ?

"Who's got the biggest balls" game is being played out here.

I feel for Pep, Koulio and the players for not being able to settle in.

It's all a bit silly...

Zincjenko's agent mentioned it mid week BUT I think it was a very leading question that led him to mention it and not because its something that has actually been part of a proposal as such

Possibly.

But nothing on this is coming from City.

So, even though I believe we are taking a huge risk if we don't sign a cb, I can't whinge about this deal, as all the news on it, is coming from that ****, in Italy.

City may have set their stall out weeks ago & be looking at other players, for all we know.
