Kalvin Phillips

By all accounts City are asking for a huge loan fee and an obligation to purchase from any interested club. Kalvin has zero control over that.

It is the club's responsibility that we paid a huge fee, gave him a huge contract and now we don't want to uphold our side of the deal and want to boot him out.
Spot on decmancity. He didn't hold us to ransom for a very good contract. Why should he lose a fortune for not being good enough. We don't make many mistakes in our transfers but we did with this one. CTID

The hate for him is getting ridiculous in this thread.

Criticizing of why he isn't good player is fine in my book but having personal hatred against the person that you don't know very well it's just pathetic man.

The only crime Philips did is just being a bad player, why some us treat him like he is fucking serial killer FFS.
1. He is a good player.
2. Even, if he weren't, it won't be a crime.
3. He was just a bad fit. Blame Txiki, Pep and the back room for screwing this up.

Kalvin is blameless in my eye.

Jesus that's a bit of a stretch innit.....from someone saying he's getting on their nerves to you turning that into people supposedly treating him like a serial killer.

Fucking hell. :)

Thanks.

Good fit West Ham. Wonder why he is taking so long to agree? He could do alot worse.

Needs to get on the pitch and show what he is capable of again. Hopefully city can recoup the fee paid.
Yeah, it's hard to imagine how he's holding his head up never playing, surely for his own state of mind he's had enough of the bench and want's to show what he can do.

The West Ham move would be great news, make the Paquetta deal in the summer a lot easier.

It’s funny how the press are reporting that “the man responsible for signing Erling Haaland” is joining the Rags but none of them are mentioning that the same guy was responsible for signing Kalvin Phillips. Strange isn’t it ?
