Kalvin Phillips

I do feel for the guy. He would have come here full of hope and expectation.I’m happy the he finally has an exit route, let’s hope it works out for him.
As Williams said, he was offered the chance, earned by his performance, to go to a mega club and win things, and triple his earnings. He took a chance but it hasn’t worked out in the field. That’s the chance you take in jobs. Financially it’s worked out, and he leaves with medals whilst not having majorly contributed to them. That’s the game though. I’m sure he will one day read this forum, see some of the cunts commenting and look at his account and medal haul and laugh, knowing said cunts don’t really do much in life on comparison.

Good luck Kalvin.
In life, everyone makes mistakes, poor decisions or takes roads that don’t work out.
This will go down as a club and player mistake. Expensive, yes. Someone’s fault, maybe, but only those inside the club will know.
Kalvin comes across as a decent, sensitive young man.
He’s made a fortune. That’s not his fault. We offered him the contract.
Move on, wish the lad luck and hopefully he can resurrect his career.

He’ll be back in June.

Wilder has recently got a tune out of Patrick Bamford who was frozen out at Leeds. Maybe he can work wonders with Kalvin Philips and get him to do a decent physical job in their midfield. Hope it works out for him.
