To be fair, Kelvin Philips didn’t ask for a transfer to us , it’s on us that we identified him as an asset to our system, which he surely wasn’t.Don’t forget, at the time he was a bulldog in midfield for Leeds and playing for England.He must be rueing the day we came for him!Its not like we haven’t got form for signing square pegs to put in round holes.Grealish comes to mind, signed a maverick and tried to make him play in a strict system…ridiculous.

Well Phillips was off the back of an injury hit season for Leeds, which saw them get relegated and him have little influence on. Of course it is a bad buy from the club, to compare him to Grealish though is idiotic to say the least.
