Having just got back from seeing him tonight at the Bernabeu (and BTW loads of empty seats) I can’t think of a worse fit for for this City side. He was horrible tonight - we would be pining for Bony within a month.

Sir....have you been drinking?With De Bruyne, Bernardo, Mendy and now Mahrez we have the best crossers in the league with nobody to aim at. Aguero is always on his heels on the occasions he actually gets in the box. So often our rivals make the breakthrough by just spamming balls at the head of Kane/Lukaku/Giroud. Benzema is good in the air, send Aguero back to Argentina and Jesus given a season to see if he can learn from the new man.

He's just been found guilty of a blackmail offence in France. Surely we aren't going to sign any more dodgy French players?

The fella who's whistleblowing on all the recent crazy stories from France specified City as a club that were very reluctant to deal with French players due to all of this. So if that's true it'd be extremely odd for us to be looking at Benzema.
