Good luck to the lad - hopefully this will give him the stability and the opportunities for him to really take his career to the next level. He always gave 100% for us when asked to, and seemed a genuine lad. I'm developing a bit of a soft spot for Notts County now, what with Sven and now Kasper - I'll be keeping an eye on their results and look forward to playing against them in the not too distant future!

Gunnar Nielson came on a free towards the end of last season from Blackburn I believe.

I`m surprised he`s signed for Sven. When they were both here didn`t Sven get him to sign anew long term contract, then effectively drop him few weeks later. Then eventually made Hart his number 1 ! Apparently he was well pissed at the time !

Still a Schemichal`s never lost a derby on either side !

Probably. He told me that its Mansours ”uncle” that’s behind Notts and that he and a few of his boys bought the club as a joint venture.
