Yes I do believe the names you have chosen are delightful and very apt for taking cream tea at the savoy sweetie.

I for one hope they don't arrive while we're there. It would be most uncouth to have a royal baby screaming while we are discussing the City transfer window. Perhaps it is time to try Claridges?

It staggers me that there are so many people, including on here, who genuinely take time out of their lives to air their speculation as to the name that two complete strangers will call their baby.

Apart from the fact that it is pretty mental to give a fuck about it, there is also absolutely no knowledge associated with it. You don't know the parents, you don't know the family, you have no way of knowing what they are thinking. You are basically looking at a list of posh names, some of which have been used by Royal families before and picking one at random because "it jumps out at you".

Then some people will genuinely be a bit proud when they happen to have lucked out and picked the right one.

Who gives a fuck what they call it and why would you have an opinion on it (other than "I like/don't like that name" as you might with any new kid's name). Every tit on TV is playing this game based on absolutely fuck all - mostly on what they have heard other tits saying previously.

And yet you took the time out to speculate as to why people take the time out to speculate.

You can't have an opinion on anything nowadays, didn't you get the memo ?

If someone came round to my house and said "You know X and Y, who live down the road and we don't really know, just seeing them at the shops about once a fortnight. Well, I heard she is having a kid in three months time. Let's spend the next ten minutes plucking names out of thin air and guessing what they will call it. Then, when it's born, one of us might be right and that'll be nice, won't it".

I'd throw them out for being the most boring twat on Earth.

Yet this version of it, about people the participants know even less than the mythical X and Y, has taken grip of nobs everywhere.

It's great isn't it. What do you think they will call it?
