Kazakhstan passenger plane crash

Flight radar are saying it was subject to GPS jamming.

Assuming it was the Russians doing the jamming.

But is it possible that the personnel operating the Russian air defence systems were not aware of that fact and saw it as a threat and responded aggressively?

That chain of events is plausible. Chances of Russia admitting to anything though?
 
As it crashed in a different country to russia, I would say slim, especially as it's an airline of a third different country.
Would agree normally but ruSSia has too much influence in both of these countries that they can get the results they want. It will be interesting to see if Embraer are invited to assist.
