Sorry if it's already been said, feel free to merge if so. Just noticed love City's tweet from last night quoting Pellegrini.

@City_watch: "At the moment we think one month to recover then one month or six weeks to work"

Has he had a set back or was the extent of his injury underestimated? Looking at the very end of April until he's back going off that quote.

I don't think he's had a setback it's as you were.
10 weeks out.
Two and a half months.
A month to recover.
Six weeks to regain full fitness.
Return end of March.
Simples.

To be honest he is a big loss but him being missing will give us a better balance like the start of the season

I hope that's the case. The way I read it was another 10 weeks from now. As in at the moment another month to recover then 6 weeks after that.

Can't get my head around why he'd 'backdate' the prognosis rather than tell us how long from now, so on that basis I assumed he means 10 weeks or so from now?

Have you been asleep since 01/09/08? If so, welcome back. You've missed quite a bit while you've been snoozing.

I am thinking all the poster meant about it being City, is our inept physios dealing with or not dealing with all the injuries to a good standard.

Of course it is easier to pretend you didn't know this in the rush to get at another poster, I quoted you but it could have been one of the others, just so you don't think I have singled you out or anything :)

I'm happy to be singled out: I've got very broad shoulders and I hugely enjoy being the centre of attention.

He was bemoaning our 'bad luck'. His words, not mine. It is preposterous to suggest that we have been subject to egregious amounts of bad luck in the last decade, or so.
