I don’t see why he can’t drop back into a cdm role in a few years. He would still control and dictate games. Prob still be faster than rodders :)

Fantastic news.

Thats him with us for the vast majority of his career. The club should be congratulated on its fantastic ability to hold on to its best players. For the likes of Vinny, Silva, Aguero and KDB to have stayed so long, when they could have gone to any club in world football, is testament to how great this club is and how well we look after our players.

Christ didnt see that coming......its amazing how professionally our business is done. Despite media trying to shit stir we just get our head down and get on with it, as if Kev signing is just another day...

Even when we lost Sane there was no circus, just "OK it happens, we move on" There was no (at least as yet) fuss about Sergio either.

Might upset a few on here, but this is the main reason Im not over bothered about us going for Haaland. Not for his skills, think hes great, but cant be doing with his manager whoring him around Europe and itching for a move/salary increase every week. It doesnt fit in at all with the way we do business and actually I like the way we do it.
