keane has a go at hughes

Hardly having a pop more like stating the bleedin obvious. MH and Elephant man have not been successful yet. If success is measured on winning trophies true. MH ihas struggled this season with us at the moment true. Hardly discovering penacilin is it?

I hate Keane with a passion, however he's right, Bruce and Hughes can't ever be classed as 'successes' as managers until they've won something. Just because people continue to employ you as a manager doesn't mean you're actually up to the task. How many managerial positions did Bryan Robson have before people finally realised he was shite at it?

Bang bang bang nail on the head.

it'll be interesting to see who turns out to be the most succesful of the three in the future. much as I loathe him, I'd back Keane to channel his ruthless ambition into his own development. I think Bruce is happy at the level he's at. Hughes seems very self satisfied for someone who hasnt won anything.

Keane just stated the obvious, I mean ye're getting all pissed off but everything he's said is true.

That's Keane for ya he'll be honest so, so, honest. Even if it is pretty self destructing at times.
He got sent home (didn't walk away) from the WC for stating the obvious and telling the truth.
Left United after stating the obvious on MUFC tv,
Made the statement about the prawn sandwiches about United fans at home.
He slated his teammates a few times as well.
The list goes on and on.
Whatever about yere view on him, he doesn't bullshit, just the stone cold truth.

Ye're saying he's a crap manager.
In his very first year he brought Sunderland from bottom to top of the Championship. He bought the players he needed to get him there.
But only certain amount of players would come, he had to buy some players. Overpriced maybe but we all know that it's not the easiest of things to do to get players to teams like Sunderland, hell like we'd to pay through the noise for Robinho who hasn't exactly set the world on fire now has he.

Keane did what he had to do and he did well, especially with someone with no experience what so ever.

He walked away when he knew he brought Sunderland as far as he could.
And at the time it was the right call.

As for the players, some of the were ridiculous, not skill wise or price wise, but their attitude.
Keane is not used to being around footballers that are that bad, mere mortals compared to Keane. But the attiude from some of them, was pathetic. Thinking they're better then they are, turning up for training and matches late.
Not acceptable at all.
Not in any team at any level.
I mean Keane brought discipline, he brought his knowledge of the game which we all know he has, a hell of a lot. And with that he had installed a never say die attitude in the team, goals being scored in the last minute of the game over and over again wasn't just a coincidence. Some players just got too big for their boots.

Keane from what we've seen is a good manager. I mean whatever your personal feelings are towards Keane, surely credit where credit is due.
Like give the lad a break, all he did was tell the truth. And I think that's partially the reason people on here are getting so pissed off.
